Skydropx is innovating logistics across Latin America and seeking a Data Analytics professional to join their dynamic, ambitious, and multicultural team. This is a fully remote role based in Colombia, reporting to the data team. You will be responsible for creating interactive reports and dashboards that communicate key findings and metrics to stakeholders across the organization. You'll analyze business trends and key metrics to provide meaningful insights, evaluate KPI performance across different areas, and propose improvements. Collaboration with data scientists is a core part of the role—you'll help prepare data for machine learning models, including feature selection and optimization. Key responsibilities include: - Building interactive dashboards and reports using BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Qliksense, or similar) - Writing and optimizing SQL queries in BigQuery to extract, transform, and load data - Analyzing business metrics and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities - Documenting data processes and methodologies to support scalability and team understanding - Partnering with data scientists on data preparation for ML initiatives You should have a degree in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. You'll need at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a data analytics role, solid SQL skills, familiarity with ETL concepts and tools, and proven experience building BI dashboards. Query optimization and performance tuning are important skills.
