Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 / annual

iCapital is hiring a Data Analytics Engineer Associate to drive business growth through analytics and data science. This role sits within the Analytics group of the Data & Analytics team in Technology, working closely with the Operations and Investment Management (OIPM) group and Data Engineering. Key responsibilities include writing SQL and dbt to extract, transform, validate, and aggregate data (50% of time); creating Tableau dashboards and performing exploratory data analysis (40%); and Python development (10%). You will monitor and deploy data pipelines using Prefect, work with business requirements to implement technical solutions, and convert data insights into actionable execution plans that measurably improve business metrics. The role blends data engineering, analytics, and data science. You'll interface with senior stakeholders across operations, engineering, and product teams to understand complex business problems, develop solutions following software engineering best practices, and present findings to leadership. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field; 4–8 years of data-related experience; strong SQL and dbt proficiency; expertise in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI); solid Python, Excel, and intermediate statistics knowledge; familiarity with data science and machine learning techniques; and proven end-to-end project delivery experience in large organizations. Preferred: background in financial services, alternative investments, business analysis, or project management. The company operates Monday–Thursday in-office with Friday remote flexibility. Compensation includes base salary $100,000–$135,000, equity, annual performance bonus, matched retirement plan, subsidized healthcare (100% employer-paid dental/vision), telemedicine, mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited PTO.
