Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Regulatory Reporting Tech team is seeking a Data Analyst to join in Amsterdam and help automate and scale the company's global regulatory reporting framework to maintain compliance across all markets.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Statistical and Prudential reporting initiatives, setting direction and leading critical projects from conception through implementation. You'll collaborate closely with Regulatory Analysts to translate compliance mandates into technical specifications, ensuring no detail is lost in translation. Working alongside Data Engineers, you will build and maintain high-performance data pipelines that fully automate reports on reliable schedules, removing manual work from the compliance process.
You will design and implement rigorous validation frameworks and sanity checks to ensure reports are complete, accurate, and trustworthy before submission to global regulators. Beyond your immediate team, you'll act as a multiplier—proactively unblocking dependent teams and mentoring colleagues through insightful feedback and code reviews that drive better solutions across the organization.
Required qualifications include at least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a highly regulated environment (banking preferred). You must be proficient in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Looker, with familiarity in big data tools or PySpark being a strong advantage. You should have a background in Regulatory, AML, or Risk data and understand the complexities of operating within a highly regulated banking environment. You excel at breaking down complex problems, prioritizing effectively, and collaborating with non-technical teams to translate business requirements into technical plans.
