Salary: USD 180,000 - 240,000 / annual
Sanity.io is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Product team and deliver high-impact analysis that empowers Product and Engineering teams to make confident, data-driven decisions. You will partner closely with product managers and engineering leads to frame analytical questions, define requirements, and deliver insights that directly shape product strategy and roadmap investment decisions.
Key responsibilities include building cohort, funnel, and user journey analyses to understand customer adoption patterns and engagement; collaborating with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams to ensure data quality and consistency; defining and maintaining Sanity's north star and product health metrics as a single source of truth; owning the development and maintenance of dashboards and self-service analytics for product teams; and communicating findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to influence strategic decisions.
You will manage a mix of ad-hoc and planned analytical work while maintaining clear communication on timelines and progress. You'll continuously push the quality of analytical workflows, data models, and reporting standards, contributing to a culture of rigor and excellence within the Data & Analytics organization.
The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in office). Note: this position runs approximately 4 hours ahead of Pacific time to overlap with European partners, requiring early morning availability (around 5am starts).
