The Data Analyst (Product) role sits within Revolut's Data Science team, which partners directly with product teams to uncover insights, guide strategic decisions, and enhance customer experience. This position is based in Mexico City and focuses on financial reconciliation and data integrity for Mexico-specific operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting reconciliation processes for Mexican financial features (direct debits, payroll portability, TEF payments, and related services)
- Investigating and resolving data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Designing and maintaining datasets to support financial control and reconciliation workflows
- Automating and optimizing reconciliation processes for improved efficiency and reliability
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Data Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure consistent financial reporting and process integrity
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in an analytical role delivering data-driven solutions
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex queries, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent English communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-have qualifications include advanced STEM degrees, competition experience in physics/math/economics/programming, and prior experience in finance, accounting, or reconciliation processes.
