Kraken, a leading crypto trading platform with 10+ million users, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Product team. You'll own end-to-end data analytics for the Pro product line, from building production-grade data pipelines and dbt models to designing dashboards and metric frameworks that drive product decisions.
Key responsibilities include: defining north star metrics and analytical frameworks; designing and executing A/B testing and experimentation infrastructure; building and maintaining scalable data pipelines using dbt and Airflow; conducting causal inference analysis; and translating complex data insights into clear recommendations for product and leadership teams. You'll operate as a full-stack data analyst within a cross-functional pod, embedding AI tooling (LLM-augmented pipelines, GenAI workflows) into your analytics practice.
You'll need 7+ years of data analytics or analytics engineering experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto. Strong hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, dbt, and Airflow is essential. You should have direct experience with advanced trading products and either a professional background in financial markets or active trading experience. Demonstrated success designing and running A/B tests with causal inference techniques is required. You'll communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership. A degree in an analytical field (software engineering, economics, hard science) is preferred. You must be based in Canada, the US, the UK, or the EU and fluent in English.
