Kraken, a leading crypto and financial infrastructure platform founded in 2011, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst, Product to join their Pro product team remotely. This is a full-stack data analytics role where you'll own end-to-end data management, from production-grade pipelines and dbt models to dashboards and metric frameworks.
Key responsibilities include: designing and evolving dashboards, north star metrics, and analytical frameworks that drive business decisions; building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure including dbt models and production pipelines; leading experimentation across the product domain through A/B testing and causal inference; influencing technical direction across the data team; embedding AI tooling into workflows for tangible business impact; and delivering insights through clear data-driven storytelling to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
You'll operate as a true business partner within the Pro team, combining data-driven insights with deep knowledge of client retention funnels and user behavior. The role requires 7+ years of data analytics or analytics engineering experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto. You must have hands-on experience with advanced trading products, production data pipelines (dbt, Airflow), SQL mastery, Python proficiency, and demonstrated ability to design and run A/B tests with causal inference techniques. A background in financial markets or professional trading experience is highly valued. You should hold a degree in an analytical field (software engineering, economics, hard science) and be based in Canada, the US, UK, or EU with fluent English. Experience with LLM-augmented analytics pipelines is a nice-to-have.
