The Data Analyst (Finance) role sits within Revolut's Data Science team, which solves complex problems with practical, scalable solutions. You'll work directly with product and finance teams to uncover insights, guide business decisions, and improve customer experience through data-driven analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing complex financial databases to understand business processes and ensure data accuracy from booking through accounting
- Implementing functional accounting requirements to support product and service rollouts
- Designing key business metrics and using data management tools to create more effective financial processes
- Ensuring integration and maintenance of new business into existing financial reporting systems, controls, and processes
- Creating and maintaining aggregated data views and tables to simplify querying and analysis
- Collaborating with controllers to improve dashboards, visualize insights, and identify business drivers
- Building and maintaining relationships with central service and data teams across Finance
- Monitoring management information and conducting reviews of centralized support functions
- Promoting data literacy across the company through workshops and training
Required qualifications:
- Previous experience in an analytical role delivering impactful solutions
- Solid background or education in a quantitative discipline
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages
- Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics
Nice-to-have qualifications include expertise in additional programming languages (Java, Scala, C++) and CPA or equivalent certification.
