Zest AI is seeking a Data Analyst to join its team in Burbank, CA. Since 2009, Zest AI has been developing AI solutions for consumer lending decisions. The company's Model Management System helps financial institutions make better lending decisions, increase revenue, reduce risk, and automate compliance.
In this role, you will translate unstructured business problems into well-defined quantitative analysis projects. You'll work closely with ML scientists and engineers to evaluate the statistical and economic performance of credit models against specific business objectives. Your responsibilities include delivering analysis results across client projects such as risk analysis, economic forecasts, fairness analysis, and credit policy analysis.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and Sales & Customer Success teams to identify and deliver value from ML models. You'll also test, iterate, and drive the development of internal and external software tools.
The ideal candidate has strong skills in Python, R, Java, or C++, tactical problem solving, quantitative analysis, complex data-driven problem solving, and data visualization tools. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you'll contribute to making fair and transparent credit available to underserved populations.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with telecommuting permitted. The company offers medical, vision, dental, and retirement benefits.
