Salary: USD 90,000 - 120,000 / annual

As a Data Analyst, you will be the bridge between raw data and business decisions. You'll work across product, customer success, and engineering teams to answer critical business questions through data exploration, analysis, and visualization.
Key responsibilities include: writing and optimizing SQL queries against large relational datasets; using Python (pandas, NumPy) to clean and transform complex data; independently exploring datasets to surface trends and opportunities; building and maintaining dashboards and reports that stakeholders rely on; partnering with product and customer success teams to scope ambiguous questions into actionable analyses; investigating data quality issues and collaborating with engineering to resolve them; documenting metrics and methodologies for reproducibility; and presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You'll need 3+ years of professional analytics, data, or business intelligence experience. Required skills include strong SQL proficiency (joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization), Python for data analysis, hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and Snowflake preferred), Git version control, and demonstrated ability to work independently. You should have a track record of building dashboards and reporting systems that others depend on, plus excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications include healthcare data experience (claims, EHR/EMR, eligibility, clinical data), familiarity with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HL7/FHIR, ICD/CPT coding), hospital cost and operations data experience (ERP, supply chain, resource utilization), dbt or modern analytics engineering workflows, and BI/visualization tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
The role is fully remote with an optional NYC co-working space available. You'll work with a distributed team across multiple time zones with in-person collaboration opportunities.
