Clara is a fast-growing fintech company in Latin America providing comprehensive payment and spend management solutions for enterprises. The company serves over 20,000 large and growing businesses through locally issued corporate cards, bill pay, financing, and a B2B platform. We seek an experienced Key Account Manager to own and grow strategic client relationships that drive long-term value for Clara and its customers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our most important clients in Mexico, combining commercial acumen with consultative expertise to help them optimize spend management through Clara's platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within strategic accounts
- Managing complex sales and onboarding cycles from initiation through implementation
- Acting as a trusted partner to C-level executives across the customer base
- Navigating financial systems, ERP integrations, and budget conversations at the CFO level
- Executing sales forecasting and managing sell-in/sell-out strategies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a farmer-hunter mindset
- Positioning Clara as the go-to financial partner for high-impact organizations
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years as a Key Account Manager or Customer Success Manager in B2B models
- Previous experience in the financial sector, particularly traditional banking institutions
- Proven ability to onboard, manage, and grow B2B client accounts
- Comfort with financial systems, ERP integrations, and CFO-level conversations
- Sales forecasting skills and experience with sell-in/sell-out strategies
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a farmer-hunter mentality
- Structured, results-oriented approach with strong business acumen
- Professional English proficiency
Preferred qualifications include existing relationships within Mexico's enterprise ecosystem, experience creating go-to-market or partner marketing plans, and confidence leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles at C-level.
