Planet designs, builds, and operates the largest constellation of imaging satellites in history, delivering empirical geospatial data via a cloud-based platform to commercial, environmental, and humanitarian sectors. As a Customer Success Manager II, you will serve as a trusted advisor to strategic government agencies across Latin America, helping them maximize value from Planet's satellite imagery and geospatial solutions. You will support mission-critical initiatives in emergency response, environmental monitoring, infrastructure planning, and natural resource management. Your responsibilities include deepening customer engagement, driving product adoption, and identifying growth opportunities within your portfolio. You'll build relationships with federal, state, and municipal agencies, understanding regional priorities and translating challenges into impactful geospatial solutions. Key responsibilities: Build trusted relationships with customers to achieve strategic goals; drive product adoption through onboarding, training, and best-practice guidance; identify expansion and renewal opportunities in partnership with Sales; advocate for customer needs internally to influence product development; collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing on use cases and public sector strategies; provide proactive support for key renewals and budget cycles. Required qualifications: 6-8 years in Customer Success, Account Management, or related roles; understanding of public sector workflows, procurement, and funding cycles; ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences; cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent organizational and account management abilities; fluency in Portuguese and English; willingness to travel as needed. Desirable qualifications: Prior experience with federal, state, or municipal government agencies; knowledge of public sector challenges (climate adaptation, land use planning, infrastructure resiliency, emergency response); proficiency with ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth Engine; experience with data-sharing agreements or government contracts; Spanish fluency. This is a full-time remote position based in Brazil. If located near an office, hybrid work (3 days/week in-office) may be expected.
