Caliza is building commercial banking infrastructure for companies that operate across borders. The platform consolidates multiple banks, FX providers, and spreadsheets into a single API-driven solution, enabling customers to hold USD accounts, collect and pay in 33+ currencies, convert between fiat and stablecoins, and execute transactions in minutes instead of days. The company is also building a treasury layer with programmable accounts, approval policies, automated reconciliation, and working capital management. As Customer Success Manager for Brazil & Southern Cone, you will own a portfolio of 10–20 B2B customers and drive both retention and expansion. This is a "0 to 1" role where you'll help establish customer success processes and playbooks rather than simply executing existing ones. You'll report to the Head of Customer Success and collaborate closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams. Key responsibilities include: - Proactively identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Caliza's product suite (USD accounts, FX, stablecoin on/off-ramps, global payouts) to grow customer revenue and transaction volume, owning expansion and NRR targets for your portfolio. - Lead commercial discussions with customers regarding pricing, renewals, contract expansions, and other terms in coordination with Revenue and leadership. - Guide customers from technical kickoff through go-live and recurring volume, resolving issues with payment flows, API integrations, and account management. - Use data to track customer health, identify churn risk or volume drops early, and maintain accurate account activity and pipeline records. - Serve as the voice of the Brazilian customer within Caliza, translating local market needs into product features in partnership with BD, Product, and Engineering teams. The role requires a commercial mindset, low ego, proactive cross-functional communication, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans. You'll thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, resource-constrained environments and be excited to build from the ground up. Caliza's customers include importers, exporters, FX brokers, payment companies, and fintechs across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The company is licensed and regulated across core markets, with a team that has built financial infrastructure at Visa, Nubank, EBANX, Flutterwave, Upstart, Intuit, and Silicon Valley Bank. Backed by Initialized Capital, Better Tomorrow Ventures, Abstract Ventures, New Form Capital, QED Investors, Valor Capital, and Quona Capital, along with founders from Flutterwave, Chipper Cash, Rappi, Pomelo, Dock, Remesa Online, and Anchorage. REQUIREMENTS: - 5–7 years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Implementation at a high-growth fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS company. - Proven track record of hitting expansion, upsell, or account growth targets (must be able to share specific numbers: quota/target, attainment, and account growth methodology). - Comfort working with APIs and explaining technical concepts to developers and business stakeholders. - Deep understanding of the Brazilian financial landscape and payments ecosystem (Pix, FX, local regulations). - Commercial mindset: viewing every customer conversation as an opportunity to add value and grow the relationship. - Low ego and proactive cross-functional communication skills; ability to translate complex requirements into simple actionable plans. - Comfort with ambiguous, fast-paced, resource-constrained environments and excitement to build from the ground up. - Excellent follow-through: consistent follow-up, never letting opportunities slip, and closing the loop. - Native Portuguese and fluent English. - Based in Brazil with ability to overlap a few hours per day with US Eastern time.
