As a Customer Success Manager, you'll join the early CS team to build the customer success function from the ground up while managing a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers. The role splits between two primary focuses: 70% managing customer relationships and 30% building scalable CS processes.
Key responsibilities include managing enterprise customers through implementation and expansion phases, conducting regular business reviews with key stakeholders, monitoring customer health metrics to proactively identify and address issues, and creating customer success playbooks for different segments. You'll also establish onboarding and training processes, develop scalable enablement content, and partner with Product and Engineering to represent customer needs.
You should be strategic and technical—comfortable diving deep into document processing challenges while maintaining a business perspective. You're process-oriented with the ability to build scalable CS operations, data-driven in tracking health metrics and ROI, and an exceptional communicator across technical practitioners and executives. You work proactively and independently, spotting opportunities before problems surface.
Ideal candidates have 4+ years working with enterprise clients in consulting, familiarity with ML/AI infrastructure or developer tools, and a technical background or strong interest in AI/ML. Experience at high-growth startups, established relationships in the ML/AI ecosystem, and demonstrated account growth/expansion experience are bonuses. This is an in-person role requiring hard work and speed in an early-stage environment.
