Kombo is a unified API platform for HR, payroll, and recruiting systems, enabling customers to connect once and access 250+ integrations instead of building them individually. The company powers data for 250+ million people globally, with customers including Indeed, Pleo, and Juicebox, plus 400+ other teams. Backed by $30M+ from YC, Volition Capital, and Acadian Ventures, Kombo is on track to double revenue in 2026 with 60+ employees across Berlin and NYC. As Customer Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of 60-80 customers representing €2.5M+ in annual revenue. Your responsibilities span the complete customer lifecycle: onboarding, driving first value realization, and scaling customer integrations. You will lead implementations for strategic accounts, defining scope, rollout plans, and technical setup. Revenue ownership is central to the role—you'll build pipeline, qualify expansion opportunities, and partner with Sales on enterprise upsells to hit your revenue target. You'll coordinate across Product, Support, and Sales to ensure customers achieve their goals. A key part of the role involves surfacing customer insights and new use cases to the Product team, particularly as Kombo launches new products like LMS and payroll modules. You'll also contribute to scaling the CS function by building playbooks, automations, customer content, and AI workflows. The role requires comfort with technical depth: you'll read product documentation, debug at a high level, map customer workflows, and understand how integrations work. You'll operate with speed and agency in a high-growth environment, segmenting your book by value and risk, and building repeatable plays based on signals. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Solutions roles, managing a portfolio of 50-200 accounts - HR tech or developer tools background preferred - Proven track record owning revenue targets and leading ROI, pricing, and renewal conversations with executives - Technical comfort: ability to read product docs, debug at a high level, and understand customer workflows and integration mechanics - Experience segmenting accounts by value and risk, acting on signals, and building repeatable customer success plays - Background in high-growth SaaS environments where you developed speed and agency - Must be able to commit to in-office work in Berlin; remote work is not an option - Comfort with commercial conversations including renewals, expansions, and negotiations - Willingness to work on technical projects and enjoy problem-solving around integrations
