Kombo is a unified API platform for HR, payroll, and recruiting systems, enabling customers to connect once and access 250+ integrations instead of building them individually. The company powers data for 250+ million people globally, with customers including Indeed, Pleo, and Juicebox. Backed by $30M+ from YC, Volition Capital, and Acadian Ventures, Kombo is on track to double revenue in 2026 with 60+ employees across Berlin and NYC.
As Customer Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of 60-80 customers worth €2.5M+ in annual revenue. Your responsibilities include managing the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through expansion and renewal, leading implementations for strategic accounts, and driving revenue growth. You will own revenue targets, build pipeline, qualify deals, and partner with Sales on enterprise upsells. The role requires coordinating across Product, Support, and Sales to ensure customer success, surfacing new use cases and product opportunities, and building scalable CS processes including playbooks, automations, and AI workflows.
This is a commercial role at the intersection of account management, technical depth, and portfolio leverage. You'll work directly with engineers and customers to scope integrations, debug technical issues, and map customer workflows. The position emphasizes speed, agency, and the ability to build repeatable processes in a high-growth environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Solutions with a portfolio of 50-200 accounts
- HR tech or devtools background preferred
- Proven track record owning revenue targets and leading ROI, pricing, and renewal conversations with executives
- Technical comfort: ability to read product documentation, debug at a high level, and understand integration workflows
- Experience segmenting by value and risk, acting on signals, and building repeatable plays
- Background in high-growth SaaS with demonstrated speed and agency
- Must be comfortable with commercial conversations (renewals, expansions, negotiation)
- Must be willing to work in-office in Berlin, MD; remote roles not available
- Technical projects and integration work must be enjoyable, not a burden
