Greenboard is building an AI-native compliance operating system for financial institutions, RIAs, fintechs, private funds, and hedge funds. The platform replaces fragmented legacy tools and automates compliance workflows at scale. Founded by engineers from Amazon, Google, and unicorn startups, Greenboard is backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, and Base10, having raised over $20M. As a Customer Success Manager, you will own the end-to-end relationship for a portfolio of Greenboard's most strategic clients and reselling partners. You'll drive onboarding and implementation for complex, high-stakes accounts, manage renewals and expansion conversations, and serve as the strategic point of contact for customer stakeholders up to executive level. This role offers real influence over how customer success scales as a function—you'll help shape process and playbooks, not just execute them. Key responsibilities include: managing the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal and expansion; leading implementation for complex accounts; building trusted, strategic relationships with customers and partners; translating compliance and product concepts for technical and non-technical audiences; identifying churn risk early and driving proactive retention; spotting expansion opportunities and partnering with Sales; resolving escalations cross-functionally with Engineering and Support; synthesizing customer feedback for Product input; building and improving onboarding playbooks and processes; and mentoring junior CS team members as the team grows. You are a high-energy communicator who builds trust quickly across all organizational levels. You're comfortable owning a portfolio of accounts and prioritizing competing demands. You're proactive and action-oriented, building processes rather than waiting for them. You're organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. You thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments and excel at cross-functional collaboration. Required: 4–8 years in Customer Success, Implementation, Account Management, or related B2B SaaS role; track record owning complex accounts and executive relationships; exceptional written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills; sound judgment on prioritization; comfort building process from scratch in early-stage startup. Preferred: fintech, compliance, or financial operations experience; mentoring or informal leadership experience; startup background.
