Veeam is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to drive long-term technical outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers on the Veeam Data Platform. This is a mid-level role requiring 5+ years of customer-facing engineering experience in data backup and recovery (technical consulting, pre-sales SE, or technical account management). You will own the technical success plan and adoption roadmap for 5–50 named accounts with $100K+ ARR. Key responsibilities include: configuring customer accounts and customizing backup policies; identifying migration opportunities and conducting success planning sessions; designing and executing protection plans and recovery simulations; applying the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) to track resilience posture and deliver quarterly reports; monitoring churn signals and defining mitigation strategies; building business cases and articulating expansion value propositions; engaging CISO/CIO stakeholders with risk and opportunity updates; and collaborating on adoption and expansion campaigns. You will combine technical expertise with business acumen to translate customer outcomes into adoption roadmaps and measurable value. The role requires hands-on knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery best practices. VMCE certification is required (may be completed post-hire). Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect Expert.
