Granular Energy is a fast-growing climate tech startup developing a SaaS platform to help the electricity system transition towards 24/7 clean energy. The platform provides portfolio management solutions to electricity companies and suppliers, enabling hourly matching between green generation and consumption at scale. The company is active across Europe and the US, partnered with Europe's leading power exchanges and grid operators, and is well-funded with a long runway.
You will lead the Technical Solutions/Customer Delivery team (currently 5 people with budget for new hires), operating at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, and Product. This is a hands-on manager role with direct client interaction. Your responsibilities include:
- Manage the team: supervise work, dispatch accounts and projects, organize team planning and rituals, and conduct performance management
- Implement operational and cultural changes to operationalize implementation and delivery processes, bringing project discipline and rationalization of delivered use cases
- Oversee the entire client delivery activity and provide reporting on project health to key managers
- Manage some implementation projects directly for complex accounts, working with the existing team
- Analyze client systems (ETRMs, billing systems, ERPs, CRMs) and design robust data/integration pipelines with the SaaS platform
- Identify fixes and improvements to project delivery processes and engage customers in resolution plans
- Identify upselling opportunities and new platform capabilities through close collaboration with commercial and product teams
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
- STEM education
- Experience in SaaS implementation or roles involving analysis of complex business processes from data (business analyst, consultant, auditor), ideally in energy, commodity trading, banking, or at SaaS vendors
- Proven experience managing a team (performance assessment, workload assignment)
- Excellent remote communication skills and ability to interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
- Knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python) or ability to drive LLMs to automate workflows
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and office tools (PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English
BONUS:
- Experience in startup and/or remote environments
- Knowledge of energy industry systems (energy retail CRM, ETRM, front-to-back solutions, accounting software)
- Understanding of typical utility business functions and processes (front-office, middle-office/risk, back-office)
