Teya is a financial platform serving local businesses across Europe—cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and entrepreneurs. The company is expanding its financing proposition in Hungary and seeks a Credit Specialist to drive sales of financing products to eligible merchants. In this sales-focused, customer-facing role, you will proactively contact merchants eligible for Teya financing, explain available financing options and key terms, and understand their business needs and funding requirements. You will assess customer interest and eligibility, collect and validate necessary information and documentation, and hand over qualified leads to financing partners in a timely manner. You will guide customers through documentation and risk checks, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and keep merchants informed throughout the application process. Additionally, you will answer financing-related inquiries, manage customer expectations, escalate complex cases, and maintain accurate records in internal systems. You will develop expertise in financing products and processes, contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements, and support financing campaigns and team initiatives. REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years of proven experience in a sales role focused on financing, lending, or loan products - University degree in Finance, Economics, or similar field - Confidence in speaking with customers by phone and moving commercial conversations forward - Strong sales mindset with ability to identify customer needs, build interest, and convert qualified opportunities - Ability to explain financial products and key conditions in a clear, simple, and credible way - Good judgment when qualifying leads and handling sensitive customer conversations - High attention to detail and discipline in keeping systems and documentation up to date - Ability to work across internal teams and external partners in a structured and responsive way - Proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn fast in a growing environment - Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English
