Revolut is seeking a Credit Manager (Policy) to design and manage credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies for its growing retail lending products portfolio. This is a strategic role within the credit department, which develops and launches credit products globally, managing the full lifecycle from product design through risk management and portfolio optimization.
You will be responsible for developing account-level valuation frameworks using NPV methodology to optimize portfolio-level economic returns. Key responsibilities include managing credit limits, risk-based pricing, retention strategies, and over-limit policies; making data-driven decisions with focus on marginal decision-making; validating underwriting strategies; and leading both preventative and reactive actions to market and product changes.
Additional duties include supporting annual budget, forecast, and planning processes; tracking and communicating performance of ongoing initiatives; monitoring credit KPIs intensively; identifying operational inefficiencies within the Credit function; and ensuring approval and strong ratings from first, second, and third-line risk functions and regulators.
You will need a proven track record managing the risk cycle for retail credit products (credit cards, unsecured personal loans, etc.). Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative/analytical field (engineering, statistics, physics, math, economics, management); solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks and credit/behavioral scoring models for retail products; and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Nice-to-have skills include working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or other data analysis tools, and willingness to learn new technology to support business scaling. The role demands forward-thinking planning, proactive issue resolution, and balance between elegant problem-solving and business urgency.
