AppLovin is a leading global ad platform serving mobile game studios, ecommerce brands, and other businesses. You'll also partner closely with the Design team to establish visual language, art direction, and brand consistency across all video work. A key part of the role is building repeatable systems and workflows so that client stories move smoothly from intake through final cut without process becoming a bottleneck. You'll be self-directed, taking ownership of projects from conception to delivery. What makes this role interesting: you're not just making promotional videos—you're telling authentic human stories about real businesses and founders, with the goal of creating content that resonates emotionally and drives growth for AppLovin's platform. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in video content creation with a proven track record of producing standout, original work (portfolio required) - Hands-on experience shooting and editing high-quality video content using tools like Premiere Pro - Strong narrative instinct; ability to identify what makes a story worth telling - Demonstrated excellence in editing—pacing, structure, music, b-roll selection - High bar for quality with a strong point of view on what good looks like - Ability to read a room and adjust approach mid-shoot if an interview isn't working - Self-directed; doesn't require close management - Willingness to travel for shoots NICE TO HAVE: - Ability to make subjects comfortable on camera and elicit authentic responses - Experience producing stories outside the video production domain - Understanding of post-production workflows (After Effects, etc.) - Awareness of GenAI tools and workflows for video and static content
