Team Liquid Indonesia is seeking a Creative Producer to lead video content production for the esports organization. Reporting to the Head of Brand, Marketing, and Content, you will conceptualize, plan, and oversee engaging video content across esports, talent, and business development initiatives. You'll manage a high-performing production team while ensuring all content aligns with brand goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write comprehensive briefs before production begins, including concepts, shot lists, reference materials with timestamps, deliverable specifications (formats, aspect ratios, captions), and deadlines.
- Develop content ideas for the esports team across personality, competitive, and MLBB knowledge content, including recurring formats like vlogs and mic checks.
- Create storylines and content concepts for talent, building ongoing narratives that grow their audience and support brand deals.
- Collaborate with the business development team on sponsor and partner video concepts, ensuring all deliverables meet brand mandatories and approval requirements.
- Plan the content calendar at least two weeks in advance using ClickUp, with clear ownership, deadlines, and publish dates for all tasks.
- Schedule editor time across esports, talent, and sponsor work, balancing workloads to ensure on-time delivery.
- Lead shoots alongside videographers and manage match day coverage with contingency plans for different outcomes.
- Lead and coach the video editing team, providing specific, timestamped feedback and building editor ownership through project management tools.
- Review all cuts before approval, maintaining consistent standards for hooks, pacing, audio, captions, and branding.
- Track content performance weekly, analyzing what worked and what didn't, and adjusting strategy accordingly.
- Manage production budgets and vendor relationships to maximize resource impact.
Requirements:
- 3+ years producing video content, ideally in esports, gaming, sports, or entertainment.
- Strong editing background; while not the primary editor, you must understand editing well enough to direct cuts precisely and step in when needed.
- Experience developing content for creators or on-camera talent, including shaping their storylines and personal brand.
- Portfolio of produced pieces with your role clearly explained, plus at least one brief or shot list you wrote.
- Experience leading editors or a small production team.
- Highly organized and deadline-driven, comfortable with project management tools like ClickUp.
- Strong short-form storytelling instinct; understanding what makes the first three seconds of TikTok or Reels work.
- Familiarity with MLBB and the MPL scene, and awareness of how other esports organizations approach content.
- Availability on match days, including weekends during the season.
