PointFive is an AI Efficiency OS that helps engineering and FinOps teams manage AI spend and cloud costs. The company recently closed a $60M Series B led by Accel and was founded by the team behind IntSights (acquired by Rapid7). You will own creative growth and demand generation for PointFive, working hands-on to invent and ship campaigns, games, competitions, tools, videos, and interactive experiences designed to generate buzz, shares, and mindshare. This is a solo creative role—you'll take rough concepts from leadership and develop them into full campaigns, while also bringing your own ideas. You'll think about distribution and virality from the start, not as an afterthought. Key responsibilities include: - Inventing and shipping campaigns, games, competitions, tools, lists, stunts, videos and interactive experiences that people choose to share - Turning PointFive's research into stories that engineers, executives and press repeat - Making customers, practitioners and partners the heroes of campaigns so they're proud to share - Building PointFive's distinctive personality and voice across LinkedIn, Reddit, communities and events - Supporting creative themes for conferences and events, tied into broader campaigns - Running fast experiments, keeping what works and dropping what doesn't - Taking dry enterprise numbers and turning them into shareable, discussion-worthy content - Building interactive tools, games, quizzes and other assets that drive engagement You'll work directly with founders and leadership with minimal approval layers. The role is early-stage with no existing playbook, asset library, or creative team underneath you—your work directly shapes product, culture, and go-to-market strategy. Requirements and ideal background: - You have built an audience from zero yourself (newsletter, following, community, side project, meetup). You understand what it takes to grow from 10 to 10,000 people without a famous brand behind you. - You are extremely online and understand LinkedIn, Reddit, communities, memes and how content spreads. You use these platforms yourself. - You have made things people voluntarily shared and can point to them. - You write very well and are funny on purpose. - You can make technical or "boring" enterprise categories interesting to technical buyers. - You have done the creative work yourself, not only briefed agencies. - You are comfortable with experiments failing in public. - You are hungry to make breakout work you can put your name on. Bonus qualifications: - Can code or "vibecode" well enough to ship a landing page, leaderboard or small tool without waiting for engineering - Have a portfolio of experiments, including ones that flopped - Have worked somewhere early during a breakout moment and can articulate your exact contribution - Knowledge of cloud, FinOps, dev tools or AI infrastructure, or willingness to learn quickly This role is not a fit if you want to manage content calendars, social inboxes, lead forms, or primarily manage agencies and teams rather than make things yourself.
