This role focuses on providing strategic legal advice on healthcare regulatory compliance across the organization. You will support multiple cross-functional teams—including care operations, medical affairs, and EMR product engineering—on healthcare laws and regulations impacting telehealth delivery and digital health products. Key responsibilities include advising on telehealth compliance, corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) rules, state-by-state professional practice standards, credentialing, provider compensation, and regulatory aspects of new product launches. You will also identify intersecting legal issues spanning privacy, product, employment, litigation, and pharmacy domains. You'll stay current on evolving state and federal telehealth laws and support the customer experience team in ensuring regulatory compliance. Required qualifications: JD from an ABA-accredited law school with active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction; 4+ years of healthcare regulatory legal experience; deep expertise in telehealth compliance, digital health, and healthcare operations law; and strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory frameworks governing care delivery. Preferred: experience with legislators, trade associations, and regulatory boards (Medicine, Nursing, etc.). The role demands creative problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, strong project management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
