CoreWeave is a publicly traded AI infrastructure company (Nasdaq: CRWV, founded 2017) providing cloud compute and GPU infrastructure for AI workloads. The Legal and Government Affairs team is seeking a Counsel, Global Supply Chain to serve as a senior individual contributor supporting the company's critical infrastructure procurement and deployment operations.
In this role, you will provide strategic legal counsel on complex commercial transactions across CoreWeave's global supply chain. Key responsibilities include structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements with suppliers for GPU hardware, compute systems, networking equipment, data center infrastructure, power equipment, storage solutions, and logistics services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, tax, compliance, energy, and real estate on deal structuring and risk allocation.
You will handle day-to-day business counseling on supply chain continuity, supplier risk assessments, product quality, service remedies, and performance issues. You'll partner with regulatory, ESG, government affairs, and compliance teams on responsible sourcing and ensure contracts reflect compliance obligations. As CoreWeave expands internationally, you'll adapt supply and logistics documentation for new jurisdictions and coordinate with local counsel on local law and market norms.
Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and scale contracting templates, playbooks, and processes to drive efficient, consistent negotiations and enable business teams to handle common scenarios with reduced friction. You'll manage outside counsel on specialized matters and convert complex legal advice into clear guidance for business stakeholders.
Required qualifications: JD from accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or international equivalent). 5+ years of legal experience with significant focus on complex commercial transactions at a law firm or in-house. Strong business acumen and proven experience drafting and negotiating technology infrastructure, hardware, or supply-chain agreements. Demonstrated pragmatic, solutions-oriented counseling for senior business leaders in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
Preferred experience includes in-house legal support for cloud, data center, semiconductor, or hardware infrastructure businesses; exposure to global logistics, trade controls, sanctions, and hardware environmental compliance; experience building contracting playbooks and processes; and knowledge of international trade and hardware regulatory requirements.
