Postman is the world's leading API platform, used by 45+ million developers and 500,000 organizations including 98% of the Fortune 500. This Corporate Solutions Engineer role is based in London and combines technical expertise with customer-facing sales engineering responsibilities.
In this role, you will lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to uncover challenges and identify where Postman delivers value. You'll build strong relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers, providing guidance on API lifecycle best practices and Postman's capabilities. You'll design and deliver tailored proofs of concept, engaging demos, workshops, and hands-on sessions that showcase Postman's strengths.
You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on customer goals and drive outcomes. You'll maintain deep knowledge of Postman's platform, the API ecosystem, and industry trends including AI in API design, DevOps, and API security. You'll collect customer insights and share them with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions.
You'll represent Postman at industry events, conferences, and webinars, creating and sharing technical content (blogs, demos, tutorials) that highlight real-world use cases and best practices.
Required: 2+ years in customer-facing roles (internal or external), 5+ years in software engineering, expertise in REST/GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle management tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or modern development practices. Excellent English communication skills and comfort with customer presentations. Willingness to travel up to 25% across EMEA with occasional global travel.
