Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products to major enterprises like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. As Corporate Legal Counsel within the Corporate Legal Advisory team, you will focus on matters related to Adyen's public listing in the Netherlands while supporting major corporate initiatives including capital markets activities, complex corporate projects, and corporate development. You will serve as a strategic advisor on sound corporate governance and sustainable growth, working in a fast-moving, complex environment that demands effective cross-functional collaboration and strong decision-making capabilities. Your expertise in Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) will be critical to your success in this role. Key responsibilities include reviewing and advising on public filings and disclosure documentation; providing legal support on M&A, corporate development, and other corporate legal initiatives; managing insider trading and conflict of interest procedures; ensuring MAR compliance; supporting the disclosure committee on strategic reviews; partnering with Investor Relations and Communications on disclosure matters; advising on equity structures and incentive plans; consulting with regulators including the AFM; and staying current on Dutch and European corporate legal developments. You will bring a minimum of 4+ years of corporate legal experience, either as a corporate attorney or in-house counsel at a publicly listed international company. Strong knowledge of MAR and related Dutch/European regulations is essential. You should have familiarity with equity compensation structures, experience interfacing with the AFM and supervisory/management boards, and excellent analytical and communication skills. You work well both independently and collaboratively, can structure priorities in high-volume environments, and are based in Amsterdam with periodic travel to other offices.
