Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000 / annual

iCapital is seeking a Vice President to lead Corporate Development and Strategy initiatives, driving the company's long-term growth across the wealth and alternatives ecosystem. This role reports directly to senior leadership and is responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing both organic and inorganic strategic initiatives while ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth strategic research and presenting actionable recommendations on new business opportunities; leading rigorous, data-driven analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to inform Corporate Development recommendations; identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities including partnerships, minority investments, and acquisitions; running point on due diligence for select transactions; and serving as a trusted resource for market research, competitive intelligence, and industry trends across the organization. The role also involves preparing executive-level presentations and financial analyses, partnering with internal stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, and leading special projects in support of broader company objectives. The VP will incorporate AI and automation tools thoughtfully into workflows to improve speed, quality, and scalability of analysis and execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with external counterparties and internal teams to advance opportunities from initial evaluation through transaction or partnership execution, curating and distributing relevant industry insights to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in corporate development, strategy, investing (PE/VC), investment banking, or similar strategic role - Experience in entrepreneurial, performance-driven environments; fintech or financial services background strongly preferred - Demonstrated experience evaluating and supporting M&A transactions, partnerships, and strategic negotiations - Strong interest in alternative investments, wealth management, and building an industry-defining company - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines - Highly self-motivated with strong work ethic and ownership mindset - Quick learner, adaptable to new industries, business models, and shifting priorities - Strong understanding of KPIs and their role in strategic decision-making - Clear and effective communicator with ability to create impactful, executive-ready presentations; proficiency in PowerPoint required - Highly organized, team-oriented collaborator with experience managing multiple complex projects and working with external partners (investment bankers, legal teams, consultants) - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels - Experience with alternative funds, including familiarity with fund structures, operations, and valuation methodologies, is a plus
