As Corporate Development Director, you will lead Farther's M&A strategy and execution within the RIA space, driving growth through the acquisition of retiring advisors and RIA firms. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with deal execution excellence. Key responsibilities include: - Leading end-to-end M&A processes from target identification through deal execution and integration - Building and executing the company's acquisition go-to-market strategy, leveraging Farther's technology platform - Developing compelling business cases for sellers while generating strong economics for the company - Creating valuation models, committee memoranda, and conducting thorough due diligence - Structuring and negotiating complex deal terms aligned with strategic objectives - Designing and implementing post-merger integration strategies - Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, product, recruiting, finance, legal, and compliance teams - Building industry networks and positioning Farther as the acquirer of choice in the RIA space Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, private equity, or investment banking, with an MBA from a top-tier institution. You should have strong financial modeling and valuation skills, proven M&A execution experience, and excellence in relationship building and stakeholder management. Prior experience in wealth management, RIA aggregation, or succession planning for financial advisors is a bonus, as is a network within the top RIA aggregators.
