Salary: USD 80,000 - 150,000 / annual

Lilac Solutions is a venture-backed cleantech company developing scalable ion exchange technology to produce lithium faster, cheaper, and with a smaller environmental footprint. The company is backed by major mining and processing players, as well as leading investment funds including BMW, SK, Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Mercuria, Lower Carbon Capital, and MIT's The Engine. You will join as a Corporate Analyst II reporting to the Director of Corporate Development & Strategy. This is a step above entry-level, with increasing end-to-end ownership of key workstreams. You'll have high visibility across the organization, gaining exposure to senior leadership, the Board, investors, and external advisors. Key responsibilities include: - Conduct market, industry, and competitor research; synthesize findings into actionable insights for leadership - Develop investor presentations and materials supporting financing activities and investor engagement - Build, maintain, and analyze financial models to support project evaluation, financing decisions, and strategic initiatives - Manage and maintain virtual data rooms for financing and diligence processes, including coordinating information requests - Prepare high-quality presentations for senior management and Board meetings - Support ad hoc strategic analysis for senior leadership on complex business problems - Work cross-functionally to gather inputs, build relationships, and drive workstreams forward - Identify gaps, risks, or inconsistencies in analysis proactively and recommend solutions - Contribute to process improvements for recurring workstreams to increase efficiency This is a high-growth opportunity to scale groundbreaking technology from lab to commercial deployment. Qualifications: - 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in a highly analytical environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure complex or ambiguous problems - Quantitatively minded and comfortable working with data and financial information - Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex analysis - High attention to detail and track record of producing polished, executive-ready work - Highly organized, coachable, and willing to learn; comfortable managing multiple workstreams in fast-paced environment - Demonstrated ability to work with greater independence, exercising sound judgment on escalation Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in mining, oil & gas, investment banking, management consulting, or relevant industry - Experience building and analyzing financial models - Master's degree in business, finance, engineering, or other relevant subject
