Key responsibilities include:
- Own day-to-day general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation
- Lead recurring close areas: accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and equity compensation
- Set and manage the close calendar, coordinating with FP&A, Data, and cross-functional partners to ensure on-time, accurate closes
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and flux analysis for leadership
- Identify and automate manual, error-prone steps in the close process
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors to maintain tight internal controls and audit readiness
- Own audit deliverables including technical accounting memos, schedules, and sample testing support

- Builder mentality with bias toward execution; comfortable on a lean team relative to company scale
- Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP and a modern spend management platform
- Based in San Francisco or New York with ability to work in-person 3+ days per week
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience at high-growth, venture-backed infrastructure or cloud company

- Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows
- CPA certification
- Exposure to SOX or SOX-readiness controls work
