Kela Technologies is a secure, open platform enabling rapid integration of commercial and military systems for Western defense. The company was designed and battle-tested by Israeli innovators to help the West address frontline challenges and evolve with emerging innovations.
The Controller will own the complete revenue and income-stream lifecycle—from bookings through cash collection—and play a central role in monthly close, consolidated reporting, and annual audit processes. This role reports to the Director of Finance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and support the month-end close cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely completion, including review of balance sheet and P&L accounts and analytical reviews
• Participate in preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Own revenue accounting processes end-to-end: bookings, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, invoicing, and collections
• Reconcile revenue and receivables against orders, contracts, and delivery milestones
• Partner with sales, delivery, and program teams to ensure accurate order and billing data
• Develop and maintain recurring financial reports in collaboration with the Director of Finance
• Manage relationships with external auditors throughout the annual audit cycle
• Provide professional guidance and mentorship to bookkeeping staff
• Communicate across departments to ensure business operations are accurately reflected in financial statements
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
This is a hands-on senior accounting role requiring deep expertise in revenue recognition, financial close processes, and cross-functional collaboration in a defense technology environment.
