NODA AI, a veteran-owned, venture-backed technology company, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts across their diverse defense and aerospace portfolio. The role is based in Austin, TX (hybrid with up to 10% travel) and requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
As a subject matter expert in contracts administration within the aerospace and defense industry, you will manage a wide range of government, public sector, and commercial contracts including Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs), and Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs). You will draft, negotiate, and manage agreements such as NDAs, teaming agreements, software and technology agreements, reseller agreements, subcontracts, vendor agreements, and strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities include supporting proposal development and RFP/RFI submissions; managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle from proposal through execution, performance management, modifications, and close-out; ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), ITAR, and FedRAMP requirements; analyzing contractual obligations and risk factors; generating compliance matrices; and supporting risk assessments. You will oversee subcontractor and vendor agreements, maintain accurate contract records and documentation, track contract performance and deliverables, and provide contract briefings and compliance updates to leadership.
This individual contributor role requires strong organizational skills, deep government contracting expertise, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset. You will work cross-functionally with business development, finance, operations, engineering, and product teams, navigating complex government and international contracting regulations. The position offers significant visibility and frequent engagement with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on autonomous unmanned systems for defense, intelligence, and commercial applications.
