Anduril Industries, a rapidly growing defense technology company, is seeking a Contracts Manager to support its Intelligence Systems business line in Reston, VA. This role manages the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts, including DoD contracts, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), and commercial agreements. You will oversee contract execution from proposal through closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities include: executing contract management throughout each contract's lifecycle; reviewing and accepting contracts; overseeing proposal planning and preparation; ensuring compliance with government regulations and legal requirements; maintaining comprehensive contract documentation; providing contract summaries and briefs to program managers and executives; offering guidance on FAR/DFARS requirements; cultivating relationships with internal and external customers; developing risk mitigation strategies; and negotiating complex contractual terms with federal agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
You will work closely with legal, proposal, accounting, business operations, program, and engineering teams. The role requires active security clearance and experience with Other Transaction Agreements. This position is based in Reston, VA with travel to DC.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, government, or related field; 5+ years of full lifecycle contract management experience with CPFF, FFP, and T&M government and commercial contracts; strong working knowledge of US Government contracting (FAR/DFARS); excellent communication skills; exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; U.S. Person status; and ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include experience with DoD major weapons platforms, NCMA certifications (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM), graduate degree in business/law/government, experience with Cost Accounting Standards and FAR cost allowability rules, and Secret or Top Secret clearance.
