Veeva Systems is a mission-driven public benefit corporation and industry cloud pioneer serving life sciences companies. This hybrid role is based in Tokyo and focuses on supporting customer adoption and success with Veeva Link, a platform that helps pharmaceutical and biotech companies manage key stakeholder relationships and commercial data.
You will be the primary point of contact for Japanese customers, supporting implementation of Link best practices, conducting tailored training sessions, and ensuring high user adoption. Key responsibilities include:
• Partner with customers (large pharma and small biotech) to embed Link into daily business processes and drive change management
• Develop and nurture relationships with customer key stakeholders, understanding their specific needs
• Collaborate with the Lead Technical Consultant on integrating Link data into Veeva/Vault CRM systems
• Deliver end-user training and maximize customer engagement with Link services
• Monitor and report on customer Link adoption progression and platform health
• Respond to customer technical queries and provide product guidance
• Stay current with Veeva Link platform innovations (Link Key People, Link Medical Insight, Link AI) and deliver demo presentations
• Contribute to presales activities, leveraging expertise and collaborating across Japan and global teams
You'll work in a fast-paced, expanding environment where customer success directly drives business value. The role requires fluency in both Japanese and English, strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
Required qualifications: 3+ years in medical, commercial, data analytics, or life sciences industry roles; bilingual proficiency (Japanese/English); excellent relationship-building and communication skills; self-driven mindset with commitment to continuous improvement.
Nice-to-have experience includes Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Medical Representative (MR) background with KOL management, end-user training delivery, presales/demo presentation experience, and project management capabilities.
