As Vice President of Consultant Relations, you will own Garner's strategic relationships with the largest national broker and consulting firms. You'll be the trusted, go-to executive for practice leaders and subject-matter experts across the benefits consulting and broker ecosystem, setting how Garner engages with top-tier distributors.
Key responsibilities include: owning relationships with major national broker and consulting firms and becoming the recognized trusted advisor; defining and executing a business-development plan for a national portfolio, converting consultant relationships into closed distribution and data-licensing deals; orchestrating cross-functional resources (Sales, Product, Marketing, Client Success, Operations) behind major partnerships; designing data-driven approaches for portfolio management including contracting targets, timing, and closure rates; and channeling partner insights into Garner's go-to-market strategy. You'll bring deep expertise across major firms and the broader benefits ecosystem, positioning yourself as a credible educator and thought partner.
You'll influence at the executive level, synthesizing market perspectives and securing buy-in from senior internal and external leaders. The role demands accountability for national business development outcomes, with little hand-holding required. You'll operate with data rigor, designing goals and metrics that track performance and inform investment decisions. This is a high-ownership role in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment where you'll work on problems that matter at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform.
