Veeva Systems, a mission-driven public benefit corporation and pioneer in industry cloud, is seeking a Consultant to implement and support Commercial Cloud solutions for life sciences customers. This is a full-time, permanent customer-facing role based in Tokyo or Osaka, with potential onsite customer work.
You will be responsible for configuring and implementing Veeva's Commercial Cloud solutions (including Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, PromoMats, and Events Management) based on requirements gathered from global and domestic clients. Your day-to-day work will include leading implementation workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, performing system configuration and validation, managing data migration and integration activities, delivering training, and supporting go-live activities. You'll collaborate closely with customers, cross-functional Veeva teams (Product, Strategy, Sales, CSM), and both Japan-based and global colleagues to ensure alignment with customer governance and business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in IT consulting, professional services, or life sciences IT/Commercial roles, preferably in regulated industries (banking, insurance, life sciences)
- Demonstrated exposure to business and IT groups in implementation, administration, or supporting roles for software solutions
- Experience developing workshop materials, training materials, or conducting requirements-gathering sessions with business and system stakeholders
- Business-level English and fluent Japanese (required for this role)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in life sciences with knowledge of promotional materials or commercial excellence
- Direct experience with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault PromoMats, Salesforce, Oracle, or other life sciences industry technologies
- Background in data analysis, computer science, or related field
- Experience in services delivery management and/or systems implementation and project management
