Tyba is a modeling platform for energy companies developing, financing, and operating renewable energy infrastructure. The company empowers cross-functional teams to build and operate renewable energy more profitably using cutting-edge technical models. As a Consultant in Commercial Operations, you will serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customer accounts, owning the end-to-end customer experience from onboarding through ongoing support and analytics services. You will operate as a subject matter expert on battery storage and Tyba's products, facilitating customer meetings, providing product education, triaging requests, and orchestrating customer-specific analyses. Key responsibilities include driving customer onboarding and technical implementation (including complex asset and market integrations), conducting technical analyses with internal/external APIs and large timeseries datasets, and developing internal BI tools to support sales opportunities. You will research relevant incentive programs and regulations impacting renewable energy modeling, serve as the voice of the customer to inform product development, and support Sales and Marketing teams through your domain expertise. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Policy, and Engineering teams to ensure products deliver tangible business outcomes. The role requires someone who absorbs complex technical concepts quickly and communicates them clearly to customers and executives in both written and live settings. Required: 3+ years in consulting or customer-facing roles, independent learning ability, experience driving complex technical integrations, strong Excel and BI tool proficiency (Tableau), Python/API familiarity a plus, excellent verbal and written communication. Energy market, trading, or infrastructure financing experience is a plus but not required.
