We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to actively participate in the full mechatronic product development cycle, from ideation through production. You will contribute directly to technical decision-making in an innovative, fast-evolving environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design industrial robotic equipment
- Participate in all product development phases: establishing technical requirements, brainstorming, developing architecture, creating detailed plans, selecting components, prototyping (3D printing, machine tools), testing and validation, and supporting production launch
- Collaborate with the team to plan and prioritize tasks
- Contribute to maintaining Robotiq's market reputation through innovative, well-adapted product design and continuous improvement of existing products
Required qualifications:
- DEC or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant R&D experience
- Proficiency in Solidworks or equivalent CAD software
- Systems thinking and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)

- Basic programming and electronics knowledge
