Clubbi is a B2B marketplace transforming retail supply chains in Latin America, with a focus on small retailers. Founded in 2020 and backed by top-tier VC firms (Valor Capital, OneVC, Canary, Better Tomorrow Ventures), the company is digitizing procurement and operations for a R$250B market in Brazil alone. As a Buyer (Comprador/a), you will be a key driver in ensuring customers have the best products on their shelves. Your mission is to translate commercial strategies into real results through solid supplier partnerships while balancing price, profitability, and variety. Key Responsibilities: - Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms for SKUs under your responsibility - Manage product categories end-to-end: assortment, pricing, margin, turnover, inventory, and profitability - Conduct advanced negotiations covering payment terms, commercial conditions, promotional budgets, and commercial plans - Analyze category metrics (turnover, margin, GMV, LC2, inventory, stockouts) to support strategic decisions - Conduct market research, price benchmarking, and continuous supplier/opportunity mapping - Anticipate market trends, opportunities, and risks; propose competitive actions - Execute pricing strategies defined by commercial leadership - Negotiate Retail Media plans and commercial agreements - Partner with Supply, Sales, Growth, and Finance teams to execute category strategy - Influence internal decisions with data-driven analysis and strong commercial vision The company culture emphasizes autonomy, transparency, non-hierarchical structure, customer obsession, efficiency, and rapid learning. Requirements: - Solid experience in procurement or category management in retail, wholesale, or manufacturing, preferably in food or consumer goods - Strong commercial profile: treat your category as a business, defend strategies and negotiations internally - Experience with market research, price benchmarking, and supplier development - Advanced negotiation skills with focus on value generation - Mastery of category metrics: turnover, margin, GMV, LC2, inventory, stockouts - Excel proficiency for scenario analysis and data-driven decision-making - Analytical mindset combined with strong commercial instinct - Proactive approach to anticipate demands and identify opportunities - Ability to navigate complex scenarios, rapid changes, and multiple stakeholders - Energy, sense of urgency, and collaborative work style across functions - Interest in tracking retail trends, industry behavior, and market movements - Mid/Senior level seniority with autonomy for decision-making
