Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling users to trade on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. The company traded $21B in 2025 and is scaling rapidly as an alternative news source.
Polymarket is building out its US Exchange operations and establishing a registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM). This is a foundational compliance hire—you'll build the FCM compliance program from the ground up, not inherit a mature one. Your work in the first 90 days will define how the company operates under CFTC and NFA oversight for years to come.
You'll support the Chief Compliance Officer and own day-to-day FCM compliance operations. This includes building and maintaining written supervisory procedures across trading and operations, conducting gap analyses against CFTC and NFA requirements, and serving as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries. You'll draft and update compliance policies as the business grows and regulations evolve, monitor regulatory developments, and translate them into concrete program updates before they become problems. You'll also support exam preparation, internal reporting, and regulatory filings tied to FCM operations, working cross-functionally with trading, operations, and legal teams to ensure the compliance program reflects how the business actually works.
This role requires direct experience at a CFTC-registered FCM with deep, working knowledge of CFTC and NFA rules. You should have proven experience drafting written supervisory procedures (not editing templates), the ability to work independently and surface problems with solutions, and clear written communication skills for regulators, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership. Prior experience managing an NFA or CFTC examination or formal inquiry is a plus.
The company offers competitive salary and equity, unlimited PTO, full health/vision/dental coverage, 401k match, and hardware setup including MacBook Pro and display.
