OnePay is a consumer fintech platform backed by Walmart and Ribbit Capital, offering banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto services. The Compliance Controls & Monitoring (C&M) team serves as the second line of defense, establishing and overseeing the firm's compliance control environment. In this role, you will build trusted relationships across Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to influence compliance outcomes. You'll support maintenance and enhancement of the compliance control framework, including centralized control inventories, risk-to-control mapping, and documentation within the firm's GRC platform. Key responsibilities include supporting the enterprise Compliance Risk Assessment process by maintaining the compliance risk register, facilitating periodic risk assessments, and ensuring identified risks are appropriately mapped to controls. You'll develop, execute, and enhance risk-based monitoring activities including exception reporting, threshold monitoring, trend analysis, and data quality reviews. You'll recommend and implement automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve monitoring efficiency. You'll partner with Regulatory Change Management, Operational Change Management, and Third-Party Risk Management to translate regulatory and operational changes into control and monitoring impacts. During product development, you'll ensure compliance risks, controls, and monitoring activities are identified and documented prior to launch, with ongoing post-launch oversight. You'll serve as a compliance resource for assigned regulatory or operational domains (potentially including Disputes, Fraud, FCRA reporting, AI governance, operations change management, and third-party monitoring), prepare reporting for leadership and governance committees, and provide credible second-line challenge on control design and issue remediation.
