Ada is an AI customer service platform that has processed over 5.5 billion interactions for enterprise customers like Square, YETI, and Monday.com. The company is seeking a Compliance and Security Lead to own the end-to-end security compliance program.
In this role, you will be responsible for Ada's audit strategy across SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, and emerging agentic AI frameworks (AIUC). Your primary mandate is to transform the current seasonal audit scramble into a year-round, automated compliance operation using tools like Drata. You will own evidence collection, control mapping, and auditor coordination for multiple concurrent audit engagements.
Key responsibilities include: leading customer-facing security posture conversations with enterprise prospects; managing vulnerability programs at scale (prioritizing and resolving thousands of findings); owning RFP security sections and customer security questionnaires; maintaining the SafeBase trust center; and establishing vendor security review processes. You will also translate emerging AI regulation into concrete platform requirements as frameworks like AIUC develop.
You bring deep audit experience across major frameworks, have worked directly with tier-one audit firms (Deloitte, EY), and have successfully migrated manual compliance programs to automated tooling. You understand modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD) well enough to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. You are a strong writer, proactive program builder, and comfortable owning the room in high-stakes security conversations while knowing when to follow up with detailed answers. Interest in agentic AI governance trends is a plus.
