SmithRx is a venture-backed healthtech company disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector with a next-generation drug acquisition platform. The company has onboarded hundreds of thousands of members since 2016 and is focused on transforming the U.S. healthcare system through innovative technology and cost-saving solutions. As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining a highly-effective compliance program within a dynamic PBM regulatory landscape. Reporting to the Compliance Director, you will focus on remediation of identified non-compliance issues and mitigation of organizational risks using the seven core elements of a compliance program. Primary responsibilities include designing and enhancing corrective action processes, assessing and prioritizing corrective action referrals, initiating corrective actions (such as corrective action plans and warning letters), and collaborating with business stakeholders on root cause analysis. You will work to ensure timely and effective completion of corrective actions, identify risk mitigation opportunities, and develop job aids and program documentation. Additional responsibilities encompass building strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting compliance culture, developing oversight materials and reporting metrics, creating written compliance standards, investigating potential non-compliance issues, monitoring disciplinary actions for consistency, and collaborating with Legal to interpret regulations. You will need a bachelor's degree in healthcare, compliance, or a related field, plus a minimum of four years of compliance experience at a PBM or health plan. Pharmacy operations oversight or direct experience with pharmacy benefits, networks, and claims is valued. Professional certifications such as CHC, CHPC, or CCEP are preferred. This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel to SmithRx offices, including the San Francisco headquarters.
