Pomelo is a leading fintech infrastructure platform enabling companies across Latin America to launch and manage credit, debit, and prepaid cards with enterprise-grade security and compliance standards. The company operates a complex payments platform serving multiple countries, products, and enterprise clients, with a team of 250+ people. As a Compliance Analyst in São Paulo, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's growth occurs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Your primary focus will be on Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention (AML/CFT) compliance. Key responsibilities include: - Analyze applicable regulations and ensure AML/CFT requirements alignment across Pomelo's products, features, and business models - Support regulatory, operational, and strategic compliance matters - Identify impacts of new laws, norms, and regulations on AML/CFT programs - Prepare for and support regulatory and card network audits - Manage information requests from regulators, partners, and card networks - Review contracts from a compliance perspective, identifying risks and improvement opportunities - Participate in client meetings to present Pomelo's processes and applicable regulatory frameworks - Monitor compliance requirements for obtaining and maintaining regulatory licenses - Execute risk self-assessment processes - Prepare technical reports for various organizational areas and levels - Prepare and present AML/CFT regulatory reports - Manage and maintain updated regulatory and contractual documentation for partners - Develop and deliver internal compliance training as needed - Actively participate in AML/CFT committees - Review and approve partner onboarding reports You should have 4-5 years of experience in AML/CFT prevention, with solid knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret regulations and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences.
