The Compliance Analyst will join a fast-growing compliance team responsible for ensuring regulatory adherence across all operations. This role bridges operations, business development, and regulatory requirements in the fintech and crypto space.
Key responsibilities include: monitoring federal, state, and local regulatory changes in fintech and crypto; identifying and mitigating compliance risks; developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures; conducting regular audits and monitoring activities; maintaining compliance records; training employees on policies; preparing reports for management and regulators; investigating compliance issues; supporting cross-functional compliance projects; conducting KYC document reviews and transaction monitoring; and assisting in compliance program development and testing.
The ideal candidate brings 4-7 years of regulatory compliance experience with a strong AML/KYC focus. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in finance, law, accounting, or related field; deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail; strong organizational abilities; and proven crypto industry experience. Crypto-specific expertise is essential: in-depth knowledge of US, European, and Dubai regulatory requirements; experience with crypto AML/KYC procedures and blockchain analytics tools; proven ability to draft Suspicious Transaction Reports with clear grounds for suspicion; and experience working with third-party AML/KYC service providers. Fintech and startup experience are valued additions.
