This role owns and evolves the global compensation and total rewards strategy, serving as the single point of accountability for compensation architecture across the entire company. Key responsibilities include: developing and refining ElevenLabs' global compensation philosophy that balances market competitiveness with internal equity and financial discipline; designing job architecture and leveling frameworks that introduce rigor without bureaucracy; owning equity programs that reflect the belief that employees should be genuine owners in the company; managing annual compensation reviews and off-cycle governance with calibration rigor and AI-enabled workflows; and owning global benefits strategy across a distributed workforce that balances standardization with regional relevance. You will partner closely with Operations, Legal, and Finance teams. The role requires solving complex global compensation problems across diverse regulatory frameworks, talent markets, and role archetypes, while maintaining systems that are competitive in frontier AI markets, internally consistent, globally scalable, and built for long-term sustainability.
