CAVA is a rapidly growing Mediterranean-inspired restaurant brand seeking a Compensation Analyst to join the People & Culture function within the Total Rewards team. This role is central to developing and executing data-driven compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent while ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
You will conduct regular compensation analysis and market benchmarking to assess and validate role-based pay structures. You'll support the development and maintenance of job descriptions aligned with career architecture and development frameworks. When new roles are requested, you'll evaluate and classify them by reviewing existing job structures, conducting market analyses, and determining FLSA classification status.
Key responsibilities include administering compensation surveys and market analyses to determine the organization's competitive market position, maintaining oversight of compensation structures to support annual review cycles, and managing compensation systems and tools. You'll prepare materials presenting compensation strategies and recommendations to key stakeholders, assist in configuring and maintaining compensation data, and support the annual merit process.
You'll also partner with variable compensation and payroll teams to calculate, process, and submit variable compensation for payroll accuracy. Collaboration is essential: you'll work closely with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to advise on salary offers, pay structures, and compensation components. Finally, you'll ensure the organization stays compliant with local, state, and federal compensation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis in a corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with HRIS systems and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with compensation survey tools and market pricing methodologies
