Hims & Hers, a public healthtech company (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead all tax provision, compliance, and audit matters for the EMEA region. This role reports to the Senior Manager, International Tax and serves as the primary tax lead for the region, managing relationships with external advisors, local finance teams, and the U.S. corporate tax team. Key responsibilities include: - Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions for EMEA entities under U.S. GAAP and local statutory standards - Prepare and submit corporate income tax and indirect tax filings across multiple EMEA jurisdictions - Handle operational tax matters including withholding taxes and tax registrations - Support and manage tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with local tax authorities - Partner with U.S. tax, corporate legal, and accounting teams on complex initiatives such as entity restructuring, transfer pricing documentation, and permanent establishment (PE) risk analysis - Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across the region and assess business impact - Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for new business and existing operations in EMEA - Communicate status and issues to leadership for all EMEA entities - Conduct EMEA tax research and work with external advisers to support business initiatives - Maintain accurate tax compliance calendars and documentation with robust control and risk management - Develop and manage tax staff through performance management, goal-setting, training, and relationship-building Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax (required) - At least 5 years of corporate tax experience in a multinational organization or Big 4/public accounting environment (required) - Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance such as ACA or ACCA (preferred) - Strong technical knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect tax rules, reporting obligations, and tax accounting standards - Experience with U.S. GAAP tax provision preparation and review (ASC 740) (preferred) - Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks (e.g., BEPS, Pillar Two) - Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to partner effectively across time zones - Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
